Common Questions

How to Choose your Monitor Arm: Key Tips to Consider

Before purchasing an Arm, make sure you have a few key details in mind. You'll need to know your monitor's specifications (weight, VESA compatibility, and the Arm's load capacity)

VESA Compatibility: Check for 75x75mm or 100x100mm mounting holes.

You can easily check your monitor's compatibility by measuring the distance between the holes on the back of the monitor. If the distance is 75mm x 75mm or 100mm x 100mm, then your monitor is compatible with most VESA-compatible monitor arms.

Monitor arms typically list the weight capacity they can support. It's important to check your monitor's weight and choose a monitor arm that can support that weight comfortably. Most arms support between 4 to 10 kg, but heavier monitors may require a specialized arm.

Yes, there are monitor arms specifically designed for dual monitors. Ensure that the arm is rated for the combined weight of both monitors, and that it has the required mounting configurations.

Monitor arms typically offer a wide range of motion, including tilt (up to 40°), swivel (up to 360°), and height adjustment (sometimes up to 15 inches). Ensure you choose one with enough flexibility to meet your ergonomic needs.
